Lega Heritage Film Project

Working with Yes Africa a charity working with African people in the UK, Heather mentored the production of an extensive documentary film into Lega culture and traditions. This film project was designed to encourage LEGA people living in the UK to identify, celebrate and preserve their culture, and to share their cultural knowledge with young people who are far away from their homeland.

The finished film was screened at The Museum of London on 28 January 2007 as part of the “Belonging: Refugees in London” exhibition.
