Broad Vision: The Art & Science of Looking

An art/science research project exploring how we look at, see and interpret microscopic worlds, from the diverse perspectives of six disciplines across the University of Westminster.

The project ended with an exhibition at London Gallery West 3-15 May 2011, and a book which will be available online very soon.

Flow

Art commission for Guy's Hospital Chemotherapy Unit is now complete and officially opened on 13 April 2011.

Working with patients and staff, Will Holloway (poet extraordinaire), me and a fantastic design team produced a series of eight artworks integrated into the newly refurbished unit - on walls, windows and screens.

The Physarum Experiments

...are ongoing and I will be spending a large part of the foreseeable future building assault courses and intelligence tests for the clever slime mould to navigate, whilst it simultaneously produces some intricately beautiful patterns.
